9th grade: Paris Chaplin
Paris is an amazing young lady. She always wears a smile and brightens everyone's day. She is an exceptional student-always ready, prepared, and willing to help others. Definitely a gem.
10th grade: Nia Bond
Always engaged in classroom discussion, Nia takes initiative and shows great leadership qualities. She completes assignments on time, is motivated to learn, and demonstrates resilience and responsiveness daily. I highly recommend Nia for SOM.
11th grade: Darnaisha Gadsden Goss
Darnaisha did such a wonderful job third quarter with her academic responsibilities, all the while being one of the top basketball guards in the district. Her organization skills keep her on top of each and every assignment. All of her MAT 120 assignments were completed early as well as her American Gov work. Darnaisha even asked her math professor for extra practice for the final exam. Her desire to always achieve success is admirable. She is most worthy of the SOM award.
12th grade: Davis Christie
Davis oversaw the StuCo "notes of kindness" board from idea to implementation. He came to me with the idea, sold his plan to the rest of StuCo and constructed the hall display. I have been really overwhelmed by his growth as a leader and his kindness this semester.
