No-cost summer meals for kids and teens provided by Charleston County School District
As part of its efforts to ensure kids have access to breakfast and lunch meals during the summer months, Charleston County School District (CCSD) is pleased to announce that 36 summer “open” sites will be serving summer meals to kids and teens.

Kennedy named CCSD Superintendent

Nine Charleston County School District (CCSD) students from the graduating Class of 2022 earned college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) this year.

Montessori Community wins district’s annual wellness award
The MUSC Boeing Center for Children's Wellness (BCCW) in partnership with CCSD, celebrated schools and their wellness efforts last month. During the 2021-2022 school year, 39 CCSD schools earned a Wellness Award. The grand prize winner was Montessori Community School (MCS).

The "Unsung Educator of the Week" is a weekly honor given to a CCSD educator. The winner is nominated by a peer because of their determination to go above and beyond for our students. The winner for the week is published each Friday in the CCSD All Staff newsletter.
