Charleston County School District (CCSD) is proud to announce Mary Ford Early Learning & Family Center and Midland Park Primary School recently earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

Celebrating DADS at Sanders Clyde
The District 20 Principals Collaboration Program (D20PCP) kicked off in the 2022-2023 school year with a new initiative at Sanders Clyde Elementary School where dozens of men have formed a group called DADS (Dedicated and Diligent Service).

Felipe Perez recognized during Hispanic Heritage Month
Felipe was an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) student when his family moved from Puerto Rico to Lake Placid, FL. Perez was in tenth grade and experienced first-hand the challenges and triumphs of learning to speak English and discovering a new culture in the United States.

Unsung Educator of the Week
The "Unsung Educator of the Week" is a weekly honor given to a CCSD educator. The winner is nominated by a peer because of their determination to go above and beyond for our students. The winner for the week is published each Friday in the CCSD All Staff newsletter.
