A group of 5 students in the 7th grade were picked by their school's library media specialist to participate in a project called Seabreezes. In the beginning, we met in the library during our skills exploratory class to discuss how the program got started and the skills we would develop through participation in this group. We were assigned journals to evaluate the things we did and saw with the Seabreeze project. After all of the activities we did with our group and with the other goups, including going on a fieldtrip around Johns and Wadmalaw Islands and another to Trident Tech in North Charleston, it was now time to gather all the information and pictures and get ready to create a web site for the world to see.
