What is a County-Wide Magnet?
- Each county-wide magnet has a focus or theme.
- All students residing in Charleston County are eligible to apply.
- There is no attendance zone.
- The district provides transportation for all students.

- Academic Magnet High School (grades 9-12)
- Buist Academy for Advanced Studies (grades K-8)
- Burke Advanced Placement Academy (grades 9-12)
- Charleston County School of the Arts (grades 6-12)
- Charleston Progressive Academy (grades CD/K-6); Please note that 60% of students must come from District 20 and 40% of students come from other areas of the county)
- Garrett Academy of Technology (grades 9-12)
- Military Magnet Academy (grades 6-12)
- Montessori Community School of Charleston (grades 3K-8) (no transportation for 3-year-olds)
- Septima P. Clark Academy (grades 9-12)- ROLLING ADMISSIONS- Please contact school about application process.
