UNIQUE ASSETS: West Ashley Middle School (WAMS) is a partial magnet school serving students in grades 6 through 8. The goal of WAMS is to infuse technology into the traditional middle school curriculum and to introduce students to technology and communication skills that will better prepare them for both secondary and post-secondary education. At WAMS, failure is not an option, and students are expected to and given every opportunity to succeed. WAMS has established a working relationship with West Ashley High School so that advanced students are able to earn high school credit in a variety of classes including English, Math, and Business Education courses.
