Steps to Take To Register Your Child for a CCSD School
- Gather required documents. These include your child’s birth certificate, an up-to-date certificate of immunization, two forms of proof of residency, and a Social Security card (if available).
- Contact the school. Visit or call your child’s assigned neighborhood school or the charter or magnet school you would like your child to attend in order to schedule
an appointment. Ask about required applications, forms, or additional required documents.

Many of the district's magnet and charter schools are accepting applications until December 4, 2009 for the 2010-2011 school year, and please click on the school name or contact the school directly for information on its application dates and processes.
