School Bus Contact Information for Parents

IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT DROPPED OFF AT HIS OR HER STOP, OR IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS ABOUT BUS TRANSPORTATION, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

  1. Call your child’s school. School offices have full coverage that extends before and after the school day, and staff are prepared to answer your call. If you do not get through or have further questions,
  2. Call your area’s “bus supervisor.” These are Durham School Services staff who are on call to hear your concerns.
    1. Districts 4, 10 and 20 (North Charleston/West Ashley/Downtown): 745-7084, 745-7083, 566-1974
    2. Districts 1 and 2: 928-3177 (Porcher), 388-6107 (Cario), 216-6621 (Wando South)
    3. Districts 3, 9 and 23: 762-2778 (James Island), 559-4621 (Johns Island), TBA (Baptist Hill)
  3. Call Katie McClure, Transportation Director, CCSD Central Office at 566-8169, 296,-8564, or 566-8142, or e-mail her at Katie_mcclure@charleston.k12.sc.us.
  4. Call the Durham Bus Services Company central office at 725-3160. This number is covered from 8:30-5:00 p.m.

SI SU NIÑO NO HA SIDO DEJADO EN SU PARADERO DE AUTOBUS ESCOLAR, O SI USTED TIENE PREGUNTAS SOBRE TRANSPORTACION ESCOLAR, SIGA LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS:

  1. Llame a la escuela de su niño. Las oficinas escolares pueden contestar sus llamadas desde 30 minutos antes que empiezan las clases hasta una hora después que terminan las clases. Si no consigue hablar con alguien en la escuela o tiene más preguntas sobre transportación siga el siguiente paso:
