CCSD Teacher of the Year 2007-2008
Winner, Finalists, and Semifinalists
Teachers of the Year of the Charleston County School District (CCSD) are selected annually from among approximately 3,500 teachers. Each school names and honors its own Teacher of the Year. Nominees at the school level are given the opportunity to complete in the District level competition. Forty-four teachers competed in the District level competition this year.

Each of the semifinalists were invited to attend the banquet on April 24 at Trident Technical College, where Gwendolyn Benton was named the 2007-2008 CCSD Teacher of the Year.
