All students attending Edmund A. Burns, Midland Park, Chicora, and Mary Ford Elementary School are invited to attend Hootie’s Homegrown Roundup, Back 2 School Basics, Wednesday, Aug 12, 2009 at Edward A Burns Elementary School from 1:00-4:00pm.

Charleston County School District through the Community Education Department and Hootie & the Blowfish have joined together to develop a back to school program to assist children with school supplies and other items necessary to start the 2009-2010 school year. Hootie’s Homegrown Roundup will assist students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade, participating in free or reduced lunch, and attending Edmund A. Burns, Midland Park, Chicora, and Mary Ford Elementary School.

If you pre-registered, your application has been received and your child/children have been approved to attend the Roundup. If you have not pre-registered, registration will be available on site, or you may download an application in advance and bring it with you the day of The Roundup.

Hootie’s Homegrown Roundup will provide your child or children with a bookbag, t-shirt, Dawgs shoes, hair cut, dental exam, eye exam and school supplies. Entertainment and lots of fun will be included, too! We look forward to seeing you there.
