CCSD Roundtables
To ensure that students receive a well-rounded education and develop into healthy and successful young adults, Charleston County School District (CCSD) recognizes the vitality of establishing and maintaining meaningful collaborations with business, arts, education, faith-based, civic, and other community organizations.
Two examples of large-scale partnerships are the Literacy and Arts Roundtables.
Charleston Literacy Roundtable: In recognition of the profound impact of illiteracy in our community, the Charleston Literacy Roundtable was formed as a collaborative effort to focus attention on the critical importance of high levels of literacy across the community and facilitating the eradication of illiteracy. Charleston Arts Roundtable: The Charleston Arts Roundtable was formed to meet the divergent needs of the local arts community. It brings together leaders and organizations to address how to better incorporate the arts into CCSD schools and build a better informed audience, workforce, and educated public. Learn more!
