McGinley reflects on this week's activities including West Ashley High teacher Katherine Henderson winning the Milken National Educator Award, Breakfast with the Superintendent, and the District 4 Town Hall meeting. She also expresses her gratitude for everyone involved with Shinefest and emphasizes the importance of community partners.

This week's featured event is the District 20 Town Hall meeting for the peninsula (downtown Charleston) area from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27.
