Charleston County School District (CCSD) is a unique blend of urban, suburban, and rural schools spanning 1,000 square miles of coastal South Carolina. With approximately 42,500 students, 81 schools and additional programs, and more than 5,000 employees, CCSD is the second largest school system in the state and one of the area’s top employers.

The mission of Contracts & Procurement Services is to facilitate cost-effective acquisitions of goods and services for the Charleston County School District and programs in a legal and timely manner. In accomplishing this mission, Procurement Services will strive to maintain the most efficient operations while adhering to the requirements of District, state, and federal laws, rules, and procedures.  The overall goal is to serve our customers in the most transparent means possible.
