Ms. Toya Hampton Green
Toya Hampton Green is an attorney at McNair Law Firm, P.A. in downtown Charleston where she practices in areas of real estate transactions and local government law. Toya is married to Attorney Dwayne Green and they have a six year-old daughter who attends a Charleston County public school.
Toya graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000. In 1995, she graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Public Relations. Toya took two years off between undergraduate school and law school to work as a team leader and then as the public relations specialist for Americorps National Civilian Community Corps in Charleston.
Toya was born in Heidelberg, Germany in 1973. She grew up living in various places including Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Frankfurt, Mainz, and Wiesbaden, Germany; Tacoma, Washington; and Burke, Virginia as part of her father's army career.
Toya believes in the importance of giving back to the community. Toya is active with the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association and she is on the Board of Directors of Atlantic Bank and Trust (in organization). Toya formerly served as chairperson of the City of Charleston's Board of Architectural Review for three years and on the Board of Directors of Trident United Way. She also was on the executive committee of the Charleston County Bar and was formerly on the Boards of the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry and Art Forms and Theater Concepts, Inc.
