An Evening with the Stars Cirque des Etoiles Gala: Friday,
February 24, 2012
Charleston County School District (CCSD), in collaboration with Coastal
Community Foundation, is hosting its annual winter gala and silent auction, An
Evening with the Stars, on Friday, February 24, 2012.
This year's theme is Cirque des Etoiles, and the event promises to be an evening of excitement and celebration as the district's "stars"—its outstanding teachers and administrators—are honored for their work elevating the achievement of students.
Proceeds from this year's gala/silent auction will help sponsor the Charleston Educator Symposium, planned for June 5-7, 2012, at which principals and teachers will receive professional development to guide their work with students.
